KaonsK is a Scottish scholar-adventurer in his late forties who operates at the volatile intersection of ancient lore and modern reality. Residing in a wind-swept manor deep in the Highlands, he serves as the primary investigator for Mythical Creatures DNA, treating legends not as bedtime stories, but as living archetypes woven into human consciousness.

Neither a mystic nor a conqueror, KaonsK is a collector of truths. He possesses the rugged physicality of an explorer and the obsessive mind of a philologist, equally adept at scaling crumbling ruins as he is at deciphering forbidden, dust-choked manuscripts. 

• The Persona: An unlikely hybrid of Indiana Jones and a reclusive academic. He is sharp-eyed, intellectually restless, and carries a distinctly British sense of ironic detachment.

• The Companion: He is rarely seen without Wilburn, a grumpy, cynical cybernetic steampunk skull. While KaonsK handles the philosophy and the field research, Wilburn manages the “techno-geek” data and provides a constant stream of dark, sharp-witted commentary.
